HOW DO I ENROLL IN ONE OF YOUR PROGRAMS?
First, you must visit us here at Hair California Beauty Academy. We will give you an overview of the program and a packet to register at Saddleback College.
Applicants wishing to enroll in our programs offered under a training agreement with Saddleback Community College, must follow the regular College registration procedures. Our Admissions Officer will provide the necessary forms and instructions to complete the registration process. WHERE ARE THE CLASSES TAUGHT?
All of our courses are taught at Hair California Beauty Academy. You are invited to visit our school. During your visit, you’ll receive information about our programs, have the opportunity to ask questions, and observe classes and our clinic.
WILL I GET CREDIT FOR PREVIOUS TRAINING?
Credit may be granted for previous training and education if such training meets all standards and requirements set by the beauty school and the California State Board of Cosmetology. Specific questions regarding previous training should be directed to the beauty school.
WHEN IS THE NEXT CLASS BEGINNING?
We have new classes starting every tuesday. It is never too late to start your new exciting career in cosmetology! Please visit us and speak with our Admissions officer.
DO YOU OFFER EVENING CLASSES?
We are enrolling students for both the day and night programs.
IS FINANCIAL AID AVAILABLE?
Financial Aid and/or Fee Waivers are available for those students who qualify. For more information, please visit the Saddleback Community College, Financial Aid Office.

DO YOU OFFER PART TIME OR EVENING COURSES?

Yes! Full time Cosmetology and Cosmetician students attend Tuesday-Friday from 8:15 am – 5:00 pm, Part-time Cosmetology and Cosmetician students attend Tuesday-Thursday 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Friday or/and Saturdays 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

WHAT ARE THE COURSES COST?

The Cosmetology program is comprised of 4 courses (12 units each). Currently, the cost is $552 ($46/unit x 12 units) plus kit and books. The Cosmetician program is 1 course (16 units). The cost is $736 ($46/unit x 16 units) plus the cost of kit and books.

HOW MUCH ARE THE KIT AND BOOKS?
Currently, the kit and books for the Cosmetology program cost $1800 and for the Cosmetician program, the cost is $1800. Payment for kits and books are due in full at orientation.

FORMS OF PAYMENT?
Students pay tuition when registering at Saddleback (web page). HCBA accept cash, check, and credit cards for student kits.
